Meet Dr. Currie
"My commitment to the community isn't merely as a dentist but also as a concerned, involved citizen. I live here, have raised my children here and take part in many different charitable organizations and projects. I feel completely invested in this town both professionally and personally, and the people are the reward."
Dr. Currie has been married for 39 years, has two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
He enjoys golf and fly fishing.
Dr. Currie received his BA from Hope College in Holland, MI, and his MA from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI, in 1973. While pursuing his Masters degree, he did an internship at Upjohn Pharmaceutical. In 1977, he completed his training to become a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the both the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society and the Eta Sigma Sigma Honorary Matthew Cryer Society.
From 1977 to 1980, Dr. Currie was a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps, where he was awarded the U.S. Army Commendation Medal.

Dr. Currie donates his time and expertise to help those members of our community with special needs. The Donated Dental Services (DDS) program is a charitable program that connects caring, generous dental professionals with people who need their help the most.
Participation in the AACD Give Back A Smile Program
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation's Give Back a Smile program helps the survivors of domestic violence regain confidence to make new beginnings in their lives. Dr. Currie volunteers his time to this worthy and rewarding cause.
